Steve Tough to pick a favorite, but I don't either, so there ya go. iIm simply loving & intrigued by the Bishop's blues. I heard "Sleep With the Lights On" first and was blown away. I then read a bio on Nader's musical journey through the South, then back home to Lebanon. You can hear the impact of that journey between the debut album & this one. All of it kicks ass. Keep it comin'! It's got a flavor all its own. Favorite track: I Don't Dance.

How lucky of me to find this band, and what a shame it took them 8 albums for me to find them. In particular, I love the swagger/frivolity of their playing. Also the delicacy of the guitarist on some tracks (reminds of Stone Rebel at times) Fav track: I am the beyonder ooijerm

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
